Theatrical Showings and Broadcast sales

Several of the titles we distribute are available for sale to domestic and international broadcasters. Please inquire if you are interested in considering one of our titles for broadcast.
Public Performances
Any screening that does not take place in the confines of a home is considered a public/theatrical showing. Prices for public exhibition in theaters, museums, and cultural institutions are based on venue size, ticket price and number of screenings. To request a quote for a public screening, please email nancy@fishmanfilm.com with the following information: Name of your institution and venue, title of the film, number of screenings per film, admission price and seating capacity. Please inquire for rates for public showings where admission is charged, even within a university setting.
Institutional/Educational DVD sales
DVDs may be purchased for institutional, community group and educational use. Purchases can be made by email, letter, or telephone, using purchase orders, checks or credit cards. We ship all DVDs after payment or a purchase order has been received. Terms are Net 30. Please see ordering contact info below.

Buy online: For DVD purchase online, please use the “Buy it!” button on each film page. Our shopping cart will accept credit cards and purchase orders (from institutions only). If the button on the film page reads “Book it!” and not “Buy it!,” this means the film is still in release to theaters and festivals and may not yet be available for purchase on DVD.

Getting a Quote and Confirmation
Please email us regarding rental or purchase of our films. You can email or use the contact form. Rentals and sales are not confirmed until you have received confirmation in writing.
Ordering Timeline
Institutional/Educational and individual DVD purchases are shipped to arrive 2-3 weeks from the time you placed your order. Please let us know if you need to receive a DVD sooner than that.
Shipping and Handling Fee
In addition to the purchase price for each title, there is a U.S. shipping and handling fee of $15 for the first title, and $5 for each additional title in the same shipment. International shipping and handling fee is $20 for the first title and $5 for each additional title in the same shipment. Not all titles are available for international sales; please inquire.
Previews
Preview screeners are available to educational institutions, libraries and community groups only; there is a $10 charge for shipping and handling. Please email nancy@fishmanfilm.com if you would like to receive a preview of a specific title.
Rights
Films purchased at the institutional rate from Nancy Fishman Film Releasing come with public performance rights for non-commercial and educational exhibition when no admission fee is charged.
Replacement Policy
We will replace defective DVDs without charge within one month of delivery. For replacement after that time, please inquire.
Multiple Copies for Libraries and Universities
We offer discounts if you want to purchase several copies of the same title.
Sales Tax
We are required to collect sales tax in California. If your organization is tax exempt, please provide the appropriate documentation.
Promotional Materials
Please go to the Press Room for photos and press kits of our films, which can be downloaded from this website.
Shipping and Insuring Rented Tapes
Tapes must be returned prepaid via FedEx (ground is o.k.) or a similar trackable shipping service. Please insure Beta, Digibeta, and HDCAM tapes for $300 per tape.
Damaged Prints and Tapes
The exhibitor shall pay the cost of replacement of any rented tapes or prints which are damaged, lost or stolen, after delivery and prior to our receiving them back. Please insure Beta, Digibeta, and HDCAM tapes for $300 per tape.
